Lantern Making Workshops

In these workshops, you will learn how to use willow, tissue, glue and tape to make a fantastic lantern.
Once you have learnt how to construct the basic framework, you can make your lantern any shape you like, then let your imagination run wild with the decoration. Start by making a framework from willow withies which will then be covered in specialist wet strength tissue. Decorate with coloured tissue, decorative papers, skeleton leaves, glitter...the choice is yours.
You can then light your lantern with either a candle or an LED lantern light which can be purchased separately from me.
You will also be shown how to make willow star decorations.
All materials are included although it would be helpful if you could bring your own secateurs and/or wire cutters.
